Some safety concerns due to repair work outside the hotel and lack of street lighting at night.

The value for money at this hostel was amazing. The room was surprisingly comfortable and had memory foam beds, a pleasant surprise. The location was convenient, close to trains, the airport bus, and a shopping mall. But the highlight was the friendly and helpful staff were very good to ensure a smooth stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with more options for takeaway breakfast items.

I stayed at Auberge De Jeunesse Charleroi Youth for one night before an early flight. The location is perfect, right in front of Charleroi Sud train station. The hostel is new and spacious, with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, with individual lighting for each bed. The bathroom inside the room is convenient. The hostel offers good value for money and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Auberge De Jeunesse Charleroi Youth. The hostel exceeded our expectations with its excellent facilities and amenities. The location, just a 3-minute walk from the main train/bus station and close to shopping and dining, was absolutely perfect. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always ready to answer any questions we had. The hostel bar had a great selection of beer and wine at reasonable prices.

Each bed in the dormitory rooms is equipped with its own socket, making it convenient for charging devices. The rooms are clean, with en-suite showers and toilets, ensuring privacy and convenience. One downside is the noise from the street when the windows are open.

Lockers in room didn't work.

As a woman traveling alone, I appreciated the helpful staff and the option for breakfast even if checking out early. the location near the train station and shopping center with a supermarket was convenient. the well-designed room, with individual outlets and switches, had a separate toilet from the shower room, which was closer to the door, making it more comfortable when sharing with strangers. the communal area and outdoor space were also well designed.
